India vs Afghanistan 1st T20I: Delhi Clash Set for Sunday as Shreyas Leads India
India and Afghanistan begin their three-match T20 series on September 13 in Delhi. Shreyas Iyer leads India as Afghanistan look to end their losing T20 record against Team India in the opening clash.
This will be India’s first T20 series against Afghanistan since the T20 World Cup. India will take the field under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer. After winning the T20 World Cup, India suffered defeats in T20I series against Ireland and England, while the team won its series against Zimbabwe.
Afghanistan, meanwhile, are also regarded as a strong T20 side. This will be their first T20 series since the T20 World Cup. Before this, Afghanistan had won their series against the West Indies.
The first T20I between India and Afghanistan will be played on Sunday, September 13, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The match will begin at 7 pm.
The live telecast of the India-Afghanistan first T20I will be available on the Sony Sports Network.
The match will be streamed live on the FanCode app. Fans will therefore be able to watch the match live on FanCode, rather than JioHotstar or Sony LIV.
